Adam Peaty, who held the Commonwealth, European and World records for the 100m breaststroke, broke his own record the other day in the heats setting a new record of 57.55s, then the next day he beat his record yet again to this time win gold with 57.13s.
After beating his record the other day, when asked how he was going to prepare for the big event, said he was going to ‘have a lay in’.
